FREQUENTLY ASKED Q&A

What is your strongest coffee?

This ones a bit of a tough one! All our coffee has the same caffeine strength as the next, the only exceptions being our decaffeinated range. However, the flavour of the coffee can dictate an elusion of a stronger brew. Take our Flagship and Dictator Blends for example. Both coffee beans have exactly the same amount of caffeine per serve but the Flagship doesn’t leave a bold aftertaste on your pallet. After every sip of the Flagship, your pallet is left clean and ready for your next sip, whereas the Dictator will leave a lasting impression therefor making it seem like a stronger dose of caffeine when it is just a more bold and intense flavour.

If you are someone who enjoys a real punch of strength and flavour, we recommend trying our Dictator Blend and any single origins from the Columbian, Ethiopian and Brazil range.

Do you ship international?

Unfortunately at this point in time we do not ship internationally. However, we do ship Australia wide and we mean WIDE! We can send your parcel to every nook and cranny on the continent. FREE SHIPPING AVAILIBLE!

Do you offer any coffee training?

Due to the current status of the world, we are not offering our coffee training services. If you have any questions or queries please do not hesitate to get in contact with us via our email (info@cubastcoffee.com.au) or if you’re a local, pop into the café and have a chat with some of the team.

I’m buying for someone else, can I include a message for that person?

You certainly can! Write your special message in the “Special Instructions” section on the checkout screen and we will include it in the order.

How do I keep my coffee as fresh as possible?

The most common answer you will hear is to keep your coffee in the freezer, this is not the case for fresh hot air roasted coffee!

We recommend keeping your coffee stored in an air tight container away from direct sunlight and moisture.

If you freshly grind your coffee, only grind what you need. Do not grind the whole amount and leave it sitting there in your grinder for the next few weeks.

How many coffees does 1KG make?

Typically speaking you will get approximately 70 coffees from a 1KG bag. A general espresso shot should be made from 14g of ground coffee.
