The set-up
Coffee out front, roaster out back.
It's one room and no curtain. Order at the counter and you're standing a few metres from the machine that roasted what's in your cup — hot air, no drum, no smoke.
Most mornings there's a roast on. If you want to know what's happening, ask — someone will happily talk you through it while your coffee lands.
